A proper traditional Narrowboat, Tug deck and Vintage Engine! A very reluctant sale of my Narrowboat Grimalkin. She’s a 45 foot tug. Trad stern. With Boatman’s Cabin.Super easy to handle and maneuver. A very cosy boat. We use a sofa bed from sofa barn as our main bed plus the boatman’s cabin can sleep two. Full width bathroom with small hip bath . Two range stoves, one in boatman’s cabin and one in galley, perfect for baking, cooking and heating your kettles on. The best part is her beating heart. A fantastic and very rare Ruston Hornsby 2 cylinder engine form 1930’s or 40’s with an Enfield gearbox. She was blacked 18 months ago along with new anodes and hull survey.She has 2 leisure batteries and one starter battery. We have kept her simple, everything runs on 12 volt, to avoid the stress of “battery anxiety” She also has an expensive wind turbine “Amp Air Hawk” plus 2 solar panels. She is an absolute joy to own and I will miss her but I don’t have the time to use her. She is on the Caldon canal in Stoke on Trent if you want to see her.
