0Headroom 6’3″ in reply to questions. Dorothy Grace was lifted out checked over and repainted this summer and had a nearly new Beta Marine 38HP engine fitted to replace the old BMC. She has an oil fired AGA fitted amidships in the open plan living and cooking area. Forward of this is a 4 ft wide full length sized bed above a large 700L water tank and storage area. The bed can be made full width by inserting a board on 2 rails in the corridor part, but needs a second matress for the extension (or use the sofa HD foam matress on this board extension. Forward again to 2 Wardrobes and bathroom, with small bath and overhead shower, a sink and a cast iron radiator with space for a toilet. She is set up for CC living aboard, which is what I have used her for since she was rebuilt around 6 years ago. She has 3 solar panels , a large 700AH GEL liesure battery bank and 5KW Heavy duty inverter, so 12V and 240V power. Full battery management and charge systems and seperate batteries for 12 LED lighting and large starter battery. There are 2 * 100 litre stainless steel deisel tanks and a large 240L tank for heating oil with a day (week) feed tank.
The windows, portholes and skylights are all from a ship, so very sturdy and secure, and the the front and rear doors are steel , with a second steel firedoor at the rear to seperate the tankage and keep the cabin warm. She has a boat safety cert with 2 years remaining. I am sad to sell her but need funds to progress a yacht project I have taken on. She is currently in the West London area on the Grand Union and viewings can be arranged.
