Quiet Man is a 58ft Narrowboat with a cruiser stern, currently moored on the River Lea in Hertfordshire, and is available with a NON-RESIDENTIAL MOORING.
Built by in 2007 by Barry Hawkins. Apparently it took a degree of persuasion before Barry Hawkins agree to build a cruiser stern, he is a well known and highly regarded builder. The quality of the steelwork is immediately obvious, good clean lines throughout.
Quiet man is a spacious boat, which has been well looked after by her current owners. She is lined out in American light ash, which gives the boat a feeling of light and space.
The front deck has gas locker and a further storage locker. Double doors lead into bedroom, which can be used as two single berths or made into a king size double. 2 storage cupboards. Radiator.
Walk through bathroom, with a small bath with shower over and glass screen. Heated towel rail. Sink with cupboard under. Thetford ceramic cassette toilet with electric flush and spare cassette.
Galley has a New World oven, grill, and hob. Hanari fridge with small freezer compartment. Beautiful cream country cottage cupboards, belfast sink, mixer tap, solid oak worktops. Next is a Pullman dinette which can convert into a double bed.
Saloon area has a sofa bed. Squirrel multi fuel stove with back boiler, which runs radiators. Corner cupboard, and further storage cupboards. TV socket and radio. Door to large rear deck providing good outdoor space.
