I bought Lazy Lady as a partly completed fitout project. I serviced the z-drive and got the engine running and got a survey so that I could insure the boat commercially as a floating coffee kiosk. However before I got stuck into any conversion work I realised I needed something bigger, so here it is for sale.I have tested that the engine runs. It sounds great and does not smoke. I have changed the CV gaiter and oil for the Enfield 130 z-drive. I have started repainting the bottom and will update listing if/when I finish that.I have also got a new boat safety certificate and a survey done which shows the boat to be in good, sound overall condition but obviously in need of work to complete the interior fitout. The boat already has almost all the equipment you would need to make it into a liveaboard. What needs doing is wiring, piping and carpentry to put it all together.Good bits (essentials):Hull and shellNew surveyNew 4 year BSC (boat safety certificate)Lovely Isuzu 4LC1 4L-41 engine with raw water cooling setup. The 42hp output would be more than enough for a 60ft steel narrowboat. I cannot read engine hours from the control panel but I have found pictures online that show it being installed in this boat. It appears that it was installed as a new unit in about 2005. It starts easily with minimum smoke and sounds very nice but I have not tested it for longer than a minute. Let me know if you need to do more tests as this would require running a hose to the raw water inlet. The cosmetic condition of the engine suggests to me that it has done very few hours since new. The boat has stood unused on land for several years. It will need an oil change, new filters and fresh coolant before it is used for any length of time. I have bought 10 litres of universal coolant and new filters for oil and diesel ready to install, all of which are included. If you make an offer online through ebay, please contact me within 24 hours and be prepared to make a deposit or the item will be relisted.
