This is a project Boat, priced to sell. Reliable BMC 1.5 engine – starts and drives well; Strong, extra-thick fibreglass without de-lamination or osmosis (pre oil crisis). 3K spent refurbishing Enfield Z Drive last year (have receipts) but oil leaks coming from stern plate which needs fixing before return to the water. Raw water cooling system fully serviced last season, easy-access filter trap added; fuel tank is sound and bug-free; 3 good batteries; high capacity bilge pump. Apart from oil leak the boat is in good working mechanical order.Elm keel gives good handling stability in winds – pleasure to cruise. Tiller is unconventional but works perfectly; nav lights, horn & tunnel light were all working – need reconnecting.Vented steel gas locker with no corrosion; vinyl canopy needs replacing; Lower hull painstakingly prepared/painted with high quality materials last August (see crane photo). More anti-fouling wouldn’t go amiss; side and front fenders.Cabin is completely stripped out to bare hull for total refit. Sale includes: 4 ring gas cooker, oven & grill – old model, has flame safety devices and in full working order; refurbished Paloma gas boiler; flue & chimney; sink & drainer; Refleks diesel burner with flue & tank, works fine; original water tank is clean and sound; 12v bright cabin lights; some reclaimed insulation; fire extinguishers & blanket.Good project for person with the skills and time to complete it. I lived aboard and cruised for several months last year – fits through narrow Oxford canal locks. Sale is due to family illness. Happy to answer questions but no time wasters please. Currently out of water in boatyard ready for viewing & oil leak fix.
