I purchased this wonderful boat in my last two years of Shrewsbury (School) when I was a Junior (1989-91). The optimum weight for a sculler is 12.5 stone – 13.5 stone. It was the best boat money could buy regularly winning World Championships. It has a carbon fibre hull but with lovely wooden deck finishes. I was always super competitive when racing her. Hull shape and construction (carbon fibre) has hardly changed.It was in perfect condition when I left school and only used during term time in the first two years. I took it to university but did not use it, it got some light scratches to the hull, from a rigger in storage in Southampton which annoyed me a lot, because it would be perfect but for that. I had been meaning to get this fixed (easily fixed so I’m told), but haven’t got round to it nor have used it again with it being in storage at home ever since. It’s now time to see it to a good home where it can get used and free up space. Can send more pictures and videos if required and is available to see also.The shoes are size 10.5 and the riggers are anodised so could be used on salt water if need be.Although the boat is in South Devon, for a small fee I may be able to deliver along the M5/M4 Corridor and up towards M40/Oxford.
