14 rowing skiff project. Testing the water to see if anyone is interested in my project. Not finding the time to do it and it’s a shame for it to be sat there in the way.Hull is sound but would benefit from repaint and a little fairing of the surface. Timber work needs work, current gunwales are useable but damaged and in poor condition.It comes on a good snipe galvanised trailer that benefits from a new hitch, new bearings and everything else has been overhauled. It can be used with an outboard if you wanted to, (there is no engine included)With the boat I have two sets of oars, one modern plastimo 8’ pair and one 8’6” vintage pair of spoon bladed sculling blades which are hard to find (and not cheap) Also with the boat is a collection of brass rowlocks and fittings. It has a full purpose made fitted cover.There is the potential to make a beautiful and fast skiff from the project.Collection from Holyhead, viewing complying with Covid rules.
