Please note Trailer is not included in this auction as I want to keep it but if you have to have itwe may be able to work something out by separate negotiation but I would like to keep it so trailer not included in Auction.Looking for your next adventure Here we have for sale a wonderful Ocean Rowing Boat , Pairs Class In need of work.This pedigree Boat has made 4 very successful Atlantic woodvale crossings and is certainly not ready for retirement but requires work and complete refit.This ply Boat built in the late 1990’s approx 24ft long with a sleeping compartment one end and storage compartment the other end currently set up for pairs but could be adapted , It has made4 successful crossings the last being 2005/2006 finishing a creditable 6th overall and 4th in the pairs. An excellent self up righting ballast design and very stable not capsizing in any of the crossings.Sadly has not been used since the 2005/2006 race and is in need of work I will try and describe the best I can but viewing is not only welcome it is highly recommended you can not buy a boat like this without looking at It.The Boat is structurally sound well I say that there is a 4″ square hole underneath that will requirepatching I did this last week when I removed It from storage i did not secure the boat properly and the trailer hit a curb the boat bounced and one of the rollers went through , patching this is not a big problem just annoying. The other work needed is there are several soft spots on the deck itself so these areas will need work or replacing an easy job if you know what you are doing but you will need to know what you are doing.All in all this is a fantastic Boat but will require a lot of work , If your looking for your next adventure and on a budget and can do the work this is the boat for you.Not much equipment an untested chart plotter , compass , 2 rudders , 6 oars 4 x Sutton and 2 x concept 2 , various Bits and bobs , solar panels not tested.As Said the Trailer is not included in this auction as I want to keep it but if you have to have itwe may be able to work something out by separate negotiation but I would like to keep it.Collection only cash on collection please .I may be able to deliver if you are very local at cost.Thanks for looking any questions please get in touch.
