Beautiful, fully functioning sailing boat and stunning spacious houseboat ideal for a couple or small family with or without any sailing experience.
After this being my home for a family of four for the last 20 years, it’s time to highly reluctantly move on to something larger.
30 foot gaff cutter motor sailer. Carvel construction of pitch pine on oak frames (the best combo). Iroko wheelhouse and 3/4” marine ply decks. She’s just been treated to a total refit and restoration by one of Cornwall’s best shipwrights, to see her off to a new home properly with the love she deserves.
An amazing, beautifully fitted out boat with a living space unrivalled in size and design for its 30 foot length and over 10 foot beam! To find an equivalent more spacious design of sailing boat, you’d need to be looking at over 40’ length.
It has 2 double berths and a further option of 1 flip out double berth in the main saloon and 1 quarter berth in the wheelhouse.
Built in Portmellon, near Mevagissey in 1937, as one of the last properly built Cornish sailing hulls.
Professionally converted to gaff cutter live-aboard yacht in 2000.
Prior roles were the local Flushing ferry, a dive-salvage boat (treasure hunters), a floating pub for the famous Pandora Inn and a pot fishing boat (PZ15), fishing out of newlyn for decades.
