CHEAP PROJECT! NO RESERVE!19ft sailing yacht, believed to be a “Seamaster 19” (the guy I brought it off said his Dad brought as that model new from the manufacturer in Wolverhampton in the 80s, but lots of internet digging has found nothing). It is very similar in design to a Silhouette, but is def not one (or any other of the popular models)Triple-keel, outboard on bracket, three berth (double-vee + quarter berth), space for a galley (sink drain in place), could make a nice little cabin. I brought this last year but lockdowns have prevented me from moving forward. My marriage has recently ended so I’ll be moving away from the area to be closer to other family, and need the boat gone. Currently in dry-storage near Leek in Staffs where she can stay if required. Pre-paid until June. After that costs are £350 per six months, paid in advance (although I’m sure they would accommodate shorter periods – the owners are very friendly and helpful). Although where it is is storage rather than a workshop they will allow you to do work on the boat (there is mains power, you just need about 50m of extension cable)This is a genuine £50 start, NO RESERVE, auction. The engine is worth £200 on it’s own so grab a bargain!I have the sails, running rigging and boom, but no mast or standing rigging. There is a decent Evinrude 8hp outboard which I saw running when I bought it. Work required also includes new rudder stock & rudder, bunk cushions, and new locker lids (all the plywood needed for those comes with the boat)(NB the last photo of the yacht afloat with mast is a library pic for your reference)The trailer is an old caravan chassis and NOT ROADWORTHY. What it does mean though is that the boat/trailer can be easily winched onto a (long wheelbase) vehicle recovery trailer which will always be cheaper than specialist boat transport. (I can recommend the people who moved it for me)You are welcome to view – the storage is on a farm, so they have no problem with allowing access during lockdown, we just need to arrange access. (Storage is about 5miles from Leek/10 from Congleton/Macclesfield)Please note my 100% positive seller ratingFor our mutual protection payment by PayPal please(NB for some reason EBay has got it into its head that I’m a business seller – I’m not – but because of this it won’t let me un-tick “returns accepted”, so to be clear returns are not accepted)
