This is a chance to own Baladin. Formerly owned by Geoff Shelton and subject of his book ‘Baladin’. She was laid down in 1977 and has travelled around the UK, Holland, Belgium and France. As you can see in the pictures she is in good condition ready to sail. A change in circumstances has lead to this sale. Equipped with a 6hp tohatsu outboard with remote control in the cockpit and petrol tank in the stern locker. This was previously used on canals only so is in very good condition. Able to push Baladin along at hull speed easily. There are a full set of sails with an additional spinnaker, storm jib and spare main included. Note fitted main has small hole covered with spinnaker tape and quoted by a sailmaker for repair at £50.Log, radio, chart plotter, depth gauge, bilge pump (manual) and bulkhead compass all fitted. All work.Leisure battery and spare included. Not fitted but included are an electric bilge pump, freshwater bladder, spray hood frame. Unwilling to meet one of the family owners to view or make the exchange. 24h delay to answer extensive list of questions unacceptable despite seller being ill with covid in the middle of the auction with days to run.
