This is Matilda.She has been out of the water for 2 years now and I have installed a new sea toilet with new hoses and skin fittings.It has a 8hp yanmar inboard diesel. The seating have been recovered and the table refurbished. The galley has a sink and single burner on gas. 240v shore power installed and a 240 to 12v system installed. A new vhf radio. New ropes and winches were replaced. New nav lights and anchor. It has a spray hood and dodgers. A hand bilge pump. It’s a very roomy boat and perfect for a liveaboard. I have a new boarding ladder that comes with the boat as well.Also all new tinted windows were installed this year so she is 100% bone dry inside. All the walls in the saloon and foreberth have been carpeted. All electrical systems are working.It needs now 2x new batteries as the old ones have had there day.I have been slowly working on matilda to refurbish and get here ready to put back in the water.But I just have not got the time to get to her as work gets in the way.She is at watchet marina and I pay 183 a month storage and that includes the stands rental. She can be lived on and worked on at the same time as there is electric and water available. Also a shower block and laundrette. The Hull is sound and also the decking. It needs some gel coat filler and painted. I have the deck paint and undercoat for the Hull as well.The rear rubbing strake needs replacing in teak or iroco. This is easy to do. The rudder has been refurbished and new stainless brackets installed. The sails are in service and will need cleaning and looking at before sailing off.I’m very sad she is up for sale and wish I could finish her. But I have to be realistic and my time now is so limited I have to let her go.I have plenty of bits and pieces to go with matilda. The area of watchet marina is stunning with plenty of shops and pubs and character.
