Beautiful, 34ft, 13 ton solid ferro yacht built in Cornwall, to a one off design by John French (master boat builder) in 1986. A solid harbour based live-a-aboard, or with work has the potential to be working sailboat (project boat). The vessel is raked stem, with a long encapsulated fin keel, round bilge and retrousse stern. Machinery: a working Bowman sea water exchanger marinised Perkins 4.1 naturally aspirated four stroke diesel engine. Bought as an affordable way to live in Brighton/work studio (3 years aboard), with the intention of ‘doing her up’ and getting her out of the harbour, I’ve done a lot of work on her both internally and externally, making her immediately available as a dry, warm and cosy live-a-board, with sailing potential. Due to her heavy, low line in the water and long fin keel, she’s incredibly steady in some of the stormier days experienced down here on the South coast. Internally/living space: open plan cabin and galley with sectioned-off double bed built into the bow of the boat. ‘Sofa area’ with table and wood burner in the ‘living area’, and fridge, cooker and sink in the working galley. Would suit single person looking for an affordable living option, or couple who get on REALLY well in bijoux spaces! Sea loo located in the sleeping cabin. Boat design drawings and original design drawings/paperwork/photos available to see. Please do get in touch with any questions (I know there’s probably a ton I’ve missed out here) and for info on mooring fees and arrangements. I’ll be viewing the boat from March 23rd onward (after a post winter lick of paint etc) – if you’re considering purchasing a boat for the first time then viewing really is essential. Sensible offers only please. A regrettable sale due to change in life circumstances.
