This is a genuine bargain boat that would make a great family cruiser or even a blue water live-aboard yacht.Puffin has been well maintained over the years but is now in need of a little TLC.The hull and deck are sound, the sails are used but still in good condition with no rips, good stitching and still have a good shape. The engine is old and was working fine and 100% reliable when put ashore.Built in Holland, the home of steel boat building, by Koopmans. Very similar to Van de Stadt in design and with fantastic original build quality.The hull was shot blasted and epoxy painted approx. 9 years ago and the paint is still holding up well…. although it could do with a touch up and polish. The interior has been 80% refitted and just requires finishing to give you a really great boat. Unfortunately, I no longer have time to finish the project so you are getting a huge amount of boat for the money here. She sails really well having spent the last few years sailing all around the east coast, France, Belgium, Holland etc and is easy to sail single handed if required. She’s a really great design, quite fast through the water, and has an easy motion.5 berths comprising 1 x double 2 x good sized quarter berths 1 x berth in the saloon.Much new internal joinery and insulation, new galley area, new cooker with oven and grill, new heads including Blake’s w/c, she would make a great and safe family cruiser…. or with a little upgrading a fantastic blue water cruiser.
