He then went on to remove the old Fod Lehman engine and gearbox and all work stopped. I believe he had lost interest as other things had come up in his life.We both have kown the boat since 2001 when it was moored next to my fathers boat in Dover marina. It then sold to a guy who we became friends with and he set off to New Zealand on her. Unfortunately his plans changed once he reached Southern Spain and he had to sell. She was purchased by a guy who returned her to Bristol for extensive refurbishment to the decks, rigging, and 240v electrical system plus installation of two new plastic fuel tanks replacing the old rusting metal tanks. She was then sold to the guy we purchased her from who started a blog, blogging all the great work he did to the boat. The link to this blog is here and trust me it makes a fantastic read if you have half a day to catch up on it all.She was valued in 2011 at £60,000 in fact over he 40 years, she has always been around the £60,000 mark, we have a massive amount of paperwork, receipts and copy’s of all the previous transfer of ownerships. She is basically ready to go, we have had a couple of holidays away down to the Solent and accross to France.Since we bought her, we have:*Sourced and rebuilt Ford Lehman 80HP Diesel engine as per original spec.*Installed new exhaust water trap and pipes.*New morse controls and cables.*Autohelm*Fish finder and depth sounder *New sea water strainer. *Sourced, serviced and installed a Borg Warner Velvet drive gearbox.*Installed an Aquadrive assembly including a new reinforced bulkhead to take the strain of propulsion away from the engine mounts.*Installed New PSS Shaft Seal*New bilge pumps X2*New LED Tricolour and anchor light*New VHF aerial *Installed 4 new 110ah leisure batteries*Installed 2 new starting batteries*Installed a new wind generator*installed new solar panels over the transom and also fabricated the frame for the to sit on with a stainless steel bar to protect it from the mizzen boom.*serviced the two main Barlow winches in the cockpit.*Installed radar dome and dual screens with chart plotters. *serviced and rewired the windlass.*installed brand new Propellor.*Fresh antifoul.*Installed new shower and sump pump in the forward head.*Serviced the fairly new fridge freezer unit. (freezer ices up very quickly and then blows cold into the fridge)*Comes with small 3 man rib and Honda 2.3HP out board There are still some jobs to to to make this vessel perfection. As it stands, the headlining boards need covering and installing for the main cabin.,The wood trim on the deck and rubbing strip need varnishing again. The aft cabin is mainly untouched when it comes to the previous owners refurbishment so is in the original condition. We have a water maker that needs to be installed. We have all the trim pieces and roll of material for the headboards.I’m sure I have missed lots of bits but the best thing to do is to come and have a look if you’re interested at all.Last Valued at £60,000 in 2011The very low price reflects the cosmetic work that still needs to be done. All she needs is time and very little expense to bring her up to scratch.Currently moored in Dover and fees are paid up until the end or March 2020Any questions please ring me on07961 531602Many thanks,I HAVE MANY MANY MORE PHOTOS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST.
