Obsession, Achilles 24 484 is
a beautiful yacht.  She is not just
beautiful, she is tough.  Build with hand
laid GRP with the hull built stronger than Lloyds require and has been epoxy
coated.  The Deck is GRP with a balsa
core.  A steel section heavily reinforced
GRP skeg while the rudder has a stainless steel bearing tube.  The anodised alloy mast is supported by 5mm
stainless rigging where 4mm would normally be used.

Achilles 24 combines a
satisfactory degree of cruising comfort with the kind of speed and
seaworthiness normally associated with yachts over 28ft in length.  The smooth waterlines and moderate beam are
allied to a low wetted surface area giving an easily driven hull.  As a result, she only needs a moderate sail
area to achieve a sparkling performance which is retained in all wind
conditions.

All rope lead back to cockpit
except reefing lines

Hull condition is prefect, Epoxy
Coated & hand painted in Blue last year, Deck needs a coat of white paint
to bring her back to her best.  Softness
in Cockpit sole and on the coach roof, this has never affected her sailing
inshore and coastal sailing.

If you looking for a small yet
safe yacht to either learn to sail or to cross the Atlantic this is the ideal
boat, she really will look after you.

This is how all sailing yachts,
should be designed and build.

I will be very sorry to see
her go, she is Fantastic.
