I bought this practical sailing dinghy with a view to use for estuary cruises and costal. As I delved into it I realised it looked the part but wasn?t really up to a force 2 as sold. I am amazed anyone managed to use it without the whole rig coming down. Tiny screws into small bits of wood to hold everything inc standing rigging. Started sorting by replacing rusty galvanised standing rigging with new stainless rigging made up professionally for me but never got any further. In the meantime the flimsy wood has rotted away. So it?s a project but I think it?s not a hard one for someone experienced in sailing, woodwork, bit of GRP etc.Trailer is substantial. Tyres and bearings possibly need sorting as a priority, I did tow it ok about 100 miles a few years back though.
