For Sale: Classic 1968 Fairey Huntress 1960’s Iroko Marine ply in need of restoration. Fitted by Bruce Campbell, hull number 1068. Unique cruiser style that sleeps up to 5 (two forward in a separate cabin with a double and single in the saloon). Is 26 feet in length, 9 feet beam and weighs approximately 2 tons so can be trailered. Needs timber work. Reasonably easy project that could be worth a lot of money. It comes complete with 2 Ford 1600 crossflow engines and 2 Volvo outdrives and is sitting on a Bradley 3.5ton twin axle fast road trailer. The engines and trailer come with most of the items to complete the restoration, including new engine controls gauges etc. both engines and out drives have been removed so the transom could be replaced this is now done and needs sealing etc Viewing is highly recommended and encouraged. The trailer tows very well but does need a light board. The Huntress was well equipped with shower, cooker and hot and cold water. Storage could be continued whilst work is carried out and electricity is available, but do not forget it is a Restoration project.
