unused, other items may have been previously used – so please read
the description before committing to buy.I
will only send items by a ‘Signed For’ service (Royal Mail or Courier),
and this is obviously reflected in the postage/carriage charges.

years ago with the intention of completing it, but sadly my circumstances meant
that I never got around to it and so it has sat in storage, uncovered and
neglected, for quite some time. I’m too old now to even consider making a
start, so I need to call it a day and stop paying storage for something that I
will never be able to complete and use.
It comes complete with a Lister inboard diesel engine
already fitted (I was told that it was purchased new for the boat and has never
run, but I honestly do not know if that is true, so I am saying that it is a
‘used’ engine. The engine is properly fitted and connected to the propeller shaft.
It has two very large and heavy aluminium masts and booms,
and a few ‘bits and bats’ below deck, including a large plastic water tank, a
large plastic fuel tank, lots of teak strips for decking, and it also has some
teak rubbing strakes.
It is sat on a very large and substantial Jacobs yacht
cradle, and this cradle is sold with the boat. Storage is paid up to the 31st August
2019, after which the new owner will have to negotiate storage charges with the
owner of the storage facility (I currently pay £15 per week, that’s like £1.50 per metre). Alternatively, the boat can be removed and taken
to anywhere you want – I can recommend a crane service and transport service,
both quite near to where the boat is stored (which is near Huddersfield, West
I haven’t been able to go down and cover the boat, so it
has been exposed to the elements for quite a while but is still in quite good
Also included in the sale is a set of boat plans, but I do
not know if these are a full set of plans. The plans are dated 1975, so that is
what I have put for the ‘Yeart’ (as required by eBay).
I visited the boat on Saturday 1st June 2019 in
order to have a look at it and take photos (I have more photos than I can use
in the Listing, so message me if you need more sending). Although the boat is
not covered over, I was very surprised how good the condition was below decks.
There’s a bit of water in the bilges, but the engine is totally out of the
water and appears to be fine.
The hull and frames seem to be fine, but the cabin
roof/deck seems to be a bit spongey, and I didn’t want to chance my weight on
The previous owner who, I believe, had the boat from the
start, told me that it had cost him £10500 for the boat and £3000 for the
cradle, plus all the other stuff. Obviously, I realise that it isn’t worth that
now, but it really would make a nice boat if properly completed.
Sorry about all the rubbish around the boat, it’s not mine – other people at the storage facility just dump stuff wherever they find a space!
I may be open to sensible offers on this boat, so please
get in touch if you want to view (07976-533775).
Advertised elsewhere, so Listing may end early.
