Relisted. If you make an offer I expect you to have the funds to complete. Open to sensible cash offers or swaps for anything. Berthing fees at Hartlepool approx £220 p/month (paid up until October 2022).Spray 28 K*I*S*S.On her berth at Hartlepool Marina. I’m really proud of the work I have done. Recently refurbished and now ready for sale. This is a great family boat. I’m still doing upgrades here and there. A lot of boat for the money. When she was out in October 21 I had her steel checked and no defects apart from a bit of surface rust, which was rubbed down, treated and repainted.  This was not a survey just peace of mind for me. She is built from 4mm steel all round. There are no raw water intakes apart from the exit for the toilet/sink so not a lot of ways water can ingress. Keel cooled engine. She’s dry and solid. I have an extensive photo library which shows her out of the water and every bit can be seen. I have 3rd part boat insurance as required by marina’s. It cost £120 p/year and covers the £3000000 liability.

She was built by Roger Apperley of Watercraft in Diglis, Woodchester, England. The build plate is on the boat proving she is a properly built boat by a fully skilled team in a boatyard. This is not a backyard built project. Roger had already built several steel sprays to a very high standard which is why he was then selected by the original owners to build her.  K*I*S*S Steel Motor Pilot House Yacht Excellent accommodation more in keeping with a larger yacht. The wheelhouse is entered from the cockpit via a lockable timber door. To port is a comfortable seating area that can sit two persons in comfort. Below this area is a shallow locker and a large sail locker store room accessed via a ladder. Here you could store non perishable and equipment. Opposite the seating area is the helm with its wooden spoked steering wheel. Aft of this is another settee for two that doubles as a helm seat. Full standing headroom here. Used to be able to convert to another double bunk. Two steps down and you are in the main saloon. To starboard is a functional galley with gas fuelled oven and 2- burner hob, a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water and a top loading larder box. Fridge is situated in the wheelhouse within easy reach of the saloon steps. Forward of the galley is a central drop leaved dining table. There is settees port and starboard. Aft on the port side is the heads compartment with sea toilet and shower. In the bow is an off-set to starboard double berth with cabinet work to port including hanging space, drawers and locker storage.Attractively finished interior with painted white and pale grey woodwork bulkheads and varnished cabinet work.History of K*I*S*S.The original owners were Hal and Dorothy Stufft from Imla, Pennsylvania, USA. They purchased their plans from Bruce Roberts USA and after extensive research, they selected Roger to build her in the U.K.  Hull works completed in 1987 by Watercraft then the owners finished her interior fitting out and launched June 1989. Bruce Roberts owned it himself for a number of years. He states this is one of the best ever built. From the book of Spray by Bruce Roberts. (Copy on K*I*S*S.This is a rugged go-anywhere vessel and has been complimented wherever she has been. Bruce saw this in Holland and as soon as he saw her up for sale he decided to buy it for himself. He used it and toured the French Rivers and part of the med. Although this boat has covered a wide area and has visited many countries, much of her cruising has been on the inland waterways. The Spray is an ideal vessel for cruising the canals of Holland, France and Germany, as well as the canal that transits Sweden. Her shallow draft and generous accommodation make living aboard and cruising these areas a pleasure, (Bruce’s words not mine). She has everything you need, shower, sea toilet, galley. She was out of the water from June – October 2021 for the maintenance work, new painting and non slip decking has been installed. Running an ultra reliable Yanmar Diesel engine. Serviced last month.  This boat is keel cooled so no raw water intake worries. The main sail has just been refurbished and is in like new order. I kept it off during the winter winds so it didn’t get damaged. This is a great go anywhere boat and looks great with the Treadmaster’s diamond pattern all over the topsides. Makes her look like a little tank. Some of the stuff I’ve done is listed below. Treadmaster non slip £850Ships bell £60New LED Navlights.
