Caravela 22 – Sailing Yacht including trailer for sale.A joy to sail, nippy, comfortable and roomy. Handles well single handed or with 4/5 onboard.She is 22 feet in length and is sloop rigged. Main sail in good order and foresail (furling type) equally so.Decks are clean and tidy and all running rigging is led aft for easy single handed sailing.Lifting keel in good working order.Boarding ladder.Various LCD cockpit displays – speed working ok (others not so).Inside there is room to accommodate up to four persons, a porta toilet under one of the forward berths, gas stove and grill served by a gas bottle.Cushions have all recently been recovered and so inside is generally clean and tidy.Trailer is the proper one for the boat fitted with twin axles and winch. It is an official road trailer and although in good order, the purchaser needs to certain it is in sound road order before pulling off the yard if you choose to locate the boat elsewhere.Plenty of fenders on board along with misc. lines, ropes etc….Boat is currently at Rutland Water, East Midlands and is on a swing mooring. She is afloat at the moment, but I plan to take her out of the water at the end of the month.By separate negotiation there is also available an electric outboard with battery pack available, a small tender/dinghy and handheld VHF radio. I believe the boat to be an early 80’s production.
