Sloop
rig with furling headsail – Sails stored below in bags, have not been closely
inspected but appear serviceable from what can be seen, including at least a
mainsail and furling headsail.
Engine
– Sea Panther diesel (estimate circa 12hp) – Not run in starboard hull. Unknown
condition but most likely scrap. Described as non-runner. Shaft drive on each hull – portside hull
driven by remote transmission
It
is beyond the expertise of our Company to offer any comment or advice as to
what the extent of any restorations should be given the unique nature
(certainly as far as our Company’s experience is concerned) of the Vessel, and
so we will not be drawn into any
discussions about how seaworthy she currently may be and what the nature and/or
cost of any restoration work should be.
It is therefore crucial that
potential buyers conduct their own inspections and investigations where possible
– appointing professional marine surveyors and/or marine engineers as required
to make their own evaluations before committing to buy the Vessel.

Hard standing for the vessel
in current location, Preston Marina Boatyard (subject to application and acceptance) = £2,910.75 inc VAT for 12 months (Can be paid monthly at £266.81 per month, after a minimum of 6 months
is paid in advance = £1455.37 + 6 payments of £266.81 – Total payable = £3056.23).
Electricty is available via a 16 Amp metered supply, electrical units at cost (approx 18p per unit)
Lifting to road
transport
(PMS do not do road transport – this must be arranged by buyer); £198 inc VAT. 6 months
notice is required to extract the vessel from its current location. It was located in its current position by agreement with a previous owner who was not going to be moving the vessel for at least 3 years which is why it is at the back of our boatyard.
Living aboard the Vessel here at Preston Marina is not permitted.
Staying nights aboard the vessel is not permitted. Anyone working on the boat who wishes to spend nights in the boatyard may do so in a small campervan (eg VW Transporter size) which must the vehicle used to come to and from our site.
Launching of the vessel in it’s current condition at Preston Marina is not permitted. Our approval plus a statement of seaworthyness from a qualified Marine Surveyor is required prior to our launching. Pontoon berthing is subject to availability, application and our approval.
