She has a surprisingly roomy cabin for a 27 ft sailboat. The Catalina 250 is considered by many to be a modern classic. Seating in the cockpit makes cruising comfortable, and the high coamings make it safer. Aft end of the cockpit includes two observation seats. an open transom, and a stainless steel swim ladder. Moulded non-skid surfaces add more safety when moving about on deck.
