Mayfly is a 12ft clinker stem mahogany boat. It has classic gunter rigging. It was made using the clinker design by Wootton Bridge Boatbuiilders Ltd in 1995 and has been kept inside a dry garage. It has hardly been used and is in excellent condition. It is designed to sail anywhere – rivers, estuaries, lakes and the sea. The centreplate (or ‘keel’) swings up and down, making Mayfly ideal for sailing or rowing in shallow water. These pictures were taken in May 2018 on the Thames. Road trailer is not included. Once purchased, we will help buyer launch boat so it can be removed close to where it is stored (River Thames, Berkshire near Oxfordshire border). Everything seen here – sails, oars, cushions and Combi launch trolley are included. A sturdy blue boat cover and a fitting for an out-board is included.
