Classic sailing boat with bowsprit and a gunter rig, tan sails – main and jib.Built in 1997 by RC Smith, Norfolk Broads Yacht Company, Wooden clinker construction – mahogany on oak frames, copper fastened. LOA 18 foot, beam 6 foot, draft 5 foot keel down, 1 foot keel raised. Spars – Columbian pine.Rig designed by John Leather – loads of original drawings.Mast in steel tabernacle. Steel keel – 16mm, rudder 6mm.Deck is marine ply -painted.Port and starboard manual bilge pumps.Period grid compass in mahogany box.De graaf trailer.4 hp Marina outboard – used last season but needs a service. 4 years old.Danforth anchor with chain.Cover – needs some attention.Stiff boat that sails well. Easily managed single handed. The boat is on its trailer currently and has not been used since last season. Will require a coat of paint on hull and anti foul but otherwise ready to go.
