Built 1971. Designed Sparkman and Stephens. Built by Deacons
Boatyard as the Deacon 33. She was the mould for the Deb 33 glass fibre boats.

Beautiful fast cruising boat in her day. Falmouth to La Corunna in three and quarter days.

Mahogany planked and splined hull on  laminated iroko frames. Bronze floors. Teak
decks and coachroof.

Volvo 23hp diesel inboard, will  require overhaul.

Sails No1, No2, No3, No4 jibs,  main, mizzen and mizzen staysail.

I have the original drawings.

Shoal draft with drop keel 7ft 3”  plate down, 3ft 6” plate up

I converted her to yawl, in common with a lot of  S and S yachts, one advantage was that I could
set a mizzen staysail!. Featured in Classic boat magazine some years ago.

Currently she is in need of substantial re-planking and
general re-refurbishment. Most of the re-planking is to her topsides and transom

Shallow
draft with drop keel 7ft 3” keel down, 3ft 6” plate up. Sale to include: boat,
mast and spars, steel cradle, comprehensive inventory inc anchor winch, although the electronics
will be obsolete now I expect.

Current Price: £399.00
