?Here we have for sale our contessa 28 built in 1978 by Jeremy Rogers. We have owned for 20 years but have decided to sell her as she is not getting the use it should. This is a no reserve auction and would make a lovely yacht with some work the following needs sorting the hull is good with no osmosis but the rudder has water ingress and will need splitting at some point and make any repairs, The starboard side rigging mounting needs the deck strengthening and the foredeck is a little soft under foot due to some delamination (been like that for 20yrs) the varnish work in the cabin is due for redoing the good point are she is mechanically good the Volvo md 2020 is serviced every year and has never missed a beat the sails are all in good condition with the headsail recently having a new uv strip replaced the cruising chute is as new. The mast and rigging are all in good order as is the upholstery she is moored at bradwell marina in Essex and the mooring a paid until April 2022 we are going to bradwell on Sunday 12th September and viewing is welcome on that day (it’s a 4 hr round trip for us) We have some more photos but reached limit so can send if required any questions please get in contact £100 deposit required within 24hrs of end of auction then cash / bank transfer for rest on collection
