1990 Cornish Yawl built by cornish Crabbers. Idle Hour is well presented and lying afloat on Windermere. Recent
upgrades include new mast, new gaff, 2 new batteries and some upgrades
to running rigging as required. Comes with twin axle launching trailer.
All varnish work and staining in good condition. Lightly used on the
lake and sails fantastically with plenty of admiring looks.
Yawl rigged yacht with deck stepped silver spruce spars, boom and
bowsprit. Stainless steel standing rigging. All lines are led aft to the
cockpit keeping the decks clear and uncluttered. Gaff operated mainsail
and roller furling headsail with mizzen sail to stern.
All sails are the traditional tan colour and made by Rockall. The mainsail, genoa and mizzen are protected by sail covers.
GRP built with a long keel housing the centre plate, she draws 0.9M with
the centre board raised and 1.5M when lowered. Black simulated clinker
topsides with contrasting off white superstructure. Large self draining
Accommodation below decks is great, she can sleep 5 persons with a
raised double in the forepeak, two singles in the tavern and a further
single in the rear quarter. The inside is a blend of cedar, teak and
painted surfaces giving a traditional yet warm feel and benefits from
