Mirren Skye is a club racer sailing 4 berth yacht. She has has a drop keel on a winch, on-board electronics, radio, gas cooker with cylinder, a couple of different size jibs, boom cover, decent anchor / chain and a main sail. There are lewmar winches, push and pullpits and toe rails. She comes on a custom built road trailer (not a caravan chassis) and light board that is in good condition. I was previously unaware what make of boat she is, but a kind ebayer has been in touch and advised that she is a DEE 6 yacht, designed for Westkirby sailing club. I’ve done some research online and that is exactly what she is. Please note that due to a recent mishap, she needs a new mast! A recent sailing adventure resulted in a snapped mast so this would make an ideal autumn project to get the boat in sailing condition (hence the low price). I’d love to do myself but I simply don’t have the patience or know how. The lines / boom / sails etc all included, it’s simply the mast that needs replacing and she will be back to sailable condition again. The broken mast remains with the boat, along with the boom and all the rigging wires / sheets etc. All this boat needs is a new mast and she will sail again. I`d really like her to go to a good home so she sails again. She is now out of the water and on the road trailer in a dry birth on Loch Lomond. Please get in touch if you would like to view her, as that will be no problem. She takes seconds to float and retrieve from the water. Trailer is in good condition and worth a few quid itself.
