15 years old.I bought this from new, with a spray hood and many other little options. This is a gunter rigged Bermuda ketch which in a blow will sail quite happily with just the jib and mizzen. It has been our family boat for day outings to the beach and up to Calstock etc. The kids are now flown so time for me to be selfish about the choice of the next one! Recently discovered the Dinghy Cruising Association (creek crawlers) and so now Ceilidh even has plywood boards to make a platform for a tent which makes overnights possible for one, less comfortable for 2! Pictures will follow. All included.Everything goes with this even a new Simrad TP10 tiller pilot and the 12ah lithium-ion battery to power it so single handed sailing really is possible. I have done many 30 mile voyages in recent times and still had enough juice left in the battery to charge my phone! It has 2 oars a Yamaha 4hp long shaft engine, engine extension pole and boat hook, large plastic fuel tank and lead. Anchor, chain and rope in a gauze bag.The locker at the rear of the cockpit has the optional plywood, factory made boards in place. There are a few little modifications I have made along the way like the rigging on the main sheet, a new method for reefing the main and a cleat to fix the downhaul.I used to have a full cover, but it got green and damaged, now have a makeshift plastic sheet cover which works very well as well as the cover seen in the photos. The trailer has been in the drink a lot (so there are signs of corrosion all fairly minor)- but has always been washed down – there is a light board for the rear not shown in the photos. Did a journey to Totnes and back recently with the trailer and all was well, so completely roadworthy. On hardstanding in Plymouth until end of October, then will go to other location yet to be confirmed. Happy to take prospective buyer on the water – semi retired so flexible. These boats hold their value well as they are very attractive – regularly attracts comments like “nice boat!” We named her Ceilidh and will be sad to see her go.
