My lovely Etap 22i for sale. These are cracking little boats – easily handled yet fast – and are ideal for single-handed sailing and new sailors. They are also excellent for shallow water sailing, with a lift keel that allows the draft to be reduced to just 40 cm.Widely regarded as the queen of the trailer sailers, the Etap22i benefits from good build quality and a double skin construction which makes them unsinkable, as well as eliminating condensation inside the cabin. This boat comes with a nearly new main sail (2018) with 2 reefing points and single line reefing, nearly new jib (2016 very light use), and as new spinnaker (2016 – used once). All control lines are led aft to 2 lumar single speed winches, and include a Plastimo furling headsail. Two reefing points. Spinnaker pole.The standing rigging was replaced in 2012, and the lifting keel mechanism was replaced in 2014 and has been greased each year since. The boat is powered by a Honda BF8 8hp outboard, which is serviced annually and has just had this year’s service completed, including new impeller. Included with the sale is an RM break back trailer.The boat also comes with a depth and log meters, as well as a Clipper wind meter (new 2018). Also included is an autohelm and a CD player. Inside, the cabin has 4 berths, a marine toilet and a 2 burner hob.One battery charged via engine alternator and solar panel. The boat has a new solar panel installed in 2018, photos of which will be uploaded when I am next at the boat.
