For sale is our much loved Etap 28 van de Stadt model, as a project, which we unfortunately cannot complete due to health reasons. We were refurbing and going to the Caribbean, but plans had to change. Very sturdy, robust, and above all, unsinkable.
No engine or gear box, (this has been removed and disposed of) engine bay cleaned. We were fitting an electric Torqeedo Cruise 4 pod engine. This brand new, boxed, motor is available separately. To buy new, it would be over £3k.
New Anchor and winch have been fitted.
No Table as it has been removed to make a more spacious cabin. This actually makes the saloon bigger and more comfortable to be in.
Lots of bits for the refurb will be included, such as curtain fabric, and other bits and bobs.
This boat is sitting on a trailer and is very secure, so it is easy to work on in a yard or on a drive. This boat is about as big as you are able to move yourself, saving thousands in transport and storage. She was lifted out of the water last summer.
Comes complete with fully refurbished sails, direct from the sailmaker, in a brand new sail bag. Plus a huge red and orange spinnaker.

Yacht
ETAP 28, van de Stadt design, 1982 model. Ready for antifouling. No osmosis evident. Hull first scrape down, requires a bit of DA work before antifoul. As it is on a trailer, everything is visible for inspection. Full mast and rigging, but sheets (ropes) may need replacing at some point.
Trailer
SBS heavy duty, twin axle, uprated axles. In excellent condition. Complete with a set of ratchet straps rated to secure the boat. (This is a rare trailer, and to buy new would be in excess of £6k, and this is an uprated model.) Trailer rear bar with lights, and number plate space Please note that the axles are each 1800kg rated, giving an axle weight of 3600kg. And also the hitch was also uprated to 3500kg.As it stands, the boat less engine is within the trailer capacity, but due to the lockdown, I have unable to weigh the trailer. When the refurb has been completed, you will have to adjust the load on the trailer accordingly.
Sails, Main sail and Genoa
