On A Whim is a great starter or weekend boat. We bought her in 2015 from a shipwright in Southampton who was restoring her as a personal project. He’d completely restored the hull and topsides and had stripped the interior back. We had new sails cut, fitted the electronics, painted and varnished the interior and sailed her to Itchenor where she now lies. We’ve had six great seasons with her mainly weekending inside Chichester Harbour but also with frequent trips into the Solent. She’s a no-frills boat (think camping stove and cool bag, plus a bucket rather than fitted galley and heads) but is the complete package to quickly and easily get out on the water to have some fun!
