Halcyon 23 (1975) Bilge Keel Sailing Yacht. BetaMarine 14 HP diesel engine. Four berths. Mainsail and furling genoa. Singleburner portable stove and a sink. DSC/ VHF radio. Nasa Target depth instrument.Lying Dell Quay, West Sussex.
This boat has been moored on a pontoon mooringsince 2020 and recently moved to Dell Quay on a swing mooring. It has mainlybeen used in the Chichester Harbour area and for trips to the Isle of Wight.Log book kept since 1991. In need of some cosmetic improvement butready to sail. Cockpit needs to be sealed better around locker tops. Needs someone who can spend some time on her upkeep.ENGINE:Beta Marine 14 HP diesel engine (approximately 700 hours recorded) drivingthree blade propeller via shaft. 2 x batteries, one charged by enginealternator. Engine has been very reliable and serviced regularly but could do with repainting and the engine bolts the hull have some rust that needs cleaning with a wire brush.SAILS AND SPARS:Aluminium mast & boom. Stainless steel standing rigging (1 yr old).Mainsail and a furling genoa (both showing some wear but fine to sail, almostnew full size genoa provided). Sheet winches.CABIN DETAILS:The private fore cabin has two single berths. There is a private marine WC to starboard.The saloon has a single settee berth to port and another berth to starboard.The galley has a one burner portable stove and a sink.
DECKEQUIPMENT:Anchor with chain (25m). Stainless steel pulpit,pushpit, stanchions and guard wires. Fenders and warps.
NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT:Compass. DSC/ VHF radio. Nasa Target depthinstrument. Navigation lights. Clock and Barometer. SAFETY EQUIPMENT:Bilge pumps (manual and electric). 1 x fireextinguishers. Lifebuoy.
