A good example of a Mk1 Hirondelle catamaran (the one with the taller rig).I have owned the boat for two seasons, sailed a lot in the first year and added some sails, but sadly this year have only been able to get out on the water once!According to the original brochure she has 5 berths, which must include the table which converts to a good sized double. She has a Honda 4-stroke 8 hp outboard in a well in the cockpit.Inventory includes:ADM Mainsail (2016)New furling Genoa (2018)3 used laminate headsails which I bought for wednesday night racing, including one very useful monster #1 (nearly a code zero!)Recently re-upholstered (see articles from when she was called Catalyst if you have access to facebook group)Super headlining which is light, easy to keep clean, and provides some insulationSpinnakerStorm jibLowrance 3500 plotter (needs a new card)Simrad tiller pilot2 solar panels (about 3 years old)Focus compassNasa Clipper logNasa Target winds speed and direction (needs new cups)Cobra DSC Vhf radioClock and barometerNav lights including tri-colour masthead and anchor lightFire extinguisher, Smoke detector, Bilge pumpFlares (out of date of course)Cabin LED lighting2-burner spirit stove and fuel20 gallon (?) flexible water tankSeparate heads compartment with sea-flush and doorRecent running riggingTools and sparesPlates, cups, cutlery, pans, kettleS/s pulpit, push pit, guard rails, spray dodgers, almost new cockpit cover, cockpit cushions, spinnaker pole, sheet

mainsail.Basically she is ready to go wherever you want to take her although after a year of not being used could probably do with a clean.I anti-fouled her at the beginning of the year (see the last photo, where she has been re-named Korora (NZ little blue penguin) but the growth is pretty fast where she is currently moored on the river Tamar (Plymouth).I have a lift-out booked for the end of October to store her ashore for the winter but she could stay on the current mooring for a while if that suits you better. The Hirondelle is an excellent boat and makes a very good first catamaran or stable cruiser, with a good turn of speed. The daggerboards mean she goes upwind well and the 8hp Honda is very quiet when there is no wind, or useful if the tide is against you.I do have a Blue Peter dinghy which we use to get out to the mooring and this can be included in the sale if you want it.
