For sale is my Hunter 19 yacht. She has a fixed keel with just under one meter draft and a 50% ballast ratio making her very stable and fast.She comes on a heavy duty, twin axle purpose built road trailer suitable for launching and retrieving. The trailer is in very good condition and cost over £2,000 when built about 5 years ago.She has two main sails, two very large Genoa’s a small heavy duty working jib and a spinacker.She will be sold with a small seagull outboard engine which is fine for motoring to and from the pontoon or moorings on Windermere or similar inland sailing. ( I have a larger long shaft 5hp seagull which will be sold separately if you are planning on coastal sailing. This is not included in the price)She comes with a fisherman’s anchor, fenders, boat hook and working bilge pump.She is registered at Clyde yacht club and so has registered sail numbers if you want to race.She was previously registered on Windermere and I still have a new set of stick on numbers which can be re-registered with the lake wardens if you choose to sail on Windermere.Although the boat is in need of some tidyin up she is ready to sail immediately.Bits that need attention are as follows-small section of rubbing strake missing (1foot)Could do with a new hatch cover General crazing and chips to the Gell coat on the top sides as expected on an old boat.This is really only cosmetic and not worth worrying about but some topside paint would perhaps make it look beter.The hull is in sound condition with no osmosis, cracks gouges or dents.She has been painted in 2pack paint above the waterline, this is fairly new and in good condition. Below the waterline is plain white with no antifoul as she is dry sailed ie launched sailed and retrieved.The cabin has some cupboards that I made for storage space having previously being sailed bare to save weight. She is not kitted out like a caravan she is set up for day sailing. If you want to overnight on her you would need some cushions making. Personally I would strip out the cupboards (easily removed) and race her ?Please message me for more infoThe boat is in Burscough Lancashire near Southport and you will need a suitable towing vehicle.
