The Hunter HB 31 was designed by Van de Stadt with three basic aims: Cruising comfort, Aesthetically pleasing, fully competitive in open and club racing. The boat fulfills this brief admirably. Proven excellent sailing performance, Kevlar/GRP construction with fin keel, tiller steering and all sailing controls led aft. Spacious cockpit with cut out sugar scoop. Powered by Yanmar 2GM diesel inboard on shaft drive with two blades folding propeller. The accommodation is very spacious, with berths for seven, galley, cool box, hanging locker, chart table and separate heads. Inventory includes: Excellent sail wardrobe with spare main, No 1, 2, 3 headsails, three spinnakers with pole. Main sail with three reefing points, Hank on headsails. Rigging overhauled 2010. Swiftec R/T, Garmin GPS 128 with cockpit repeater, Simrad TP 10 autopilot, Clipper depth, Autohelm speed, Autohelm wind, 2 Lewmar 40’s 2 speed, 2 Lewmar 24’s 2 speed and 2 Lewmar 30’s self tailing winches. Fenders , warps etc etc. Yacht currently lying Essex Marina, River Crouch. Extensively cruised south and east coast in the past but lack of use forces sale. I’m sure the boat could remain at the marina but you would need to confirm this with the marina. Cost circa £250 pcm.
