Skylark is a 2002 Hunter Legend 240
trailer-sailor from the US Hunter Marine Corporation.
She has a pivoting
centreboard plus over half a ton of water ballast. The use of water ballast
allows the trailing weight to be much lower than with a conventional ballast
keel. She has an amazingly spacious open-plan interior with up to 5 berths,
including an aft double as big as you will find in many 35-footers!
Skylark is an ideal boat for the lakes
as she can float in very shallow water, she comes with a trailer that will need
to be checked as the trailer as only been used to launch her, she has always
been sailed in fresh water on Ullswater.
