ELECTRICAL
2X 110 amp hour 12v batteries (ordering a replacement for battery 1 today 02/08/2023)
(these are run through a “1 both 2” switch so are separate or but into parallel.
Both batteries are charged via a dual solar controller that connects to each
battery individually.

Charged by 240v shore power, engine alternator and by 400 watts of the 600 Watt
solar array.
Inverter included.

Separately I’ve recently installed a “BLUETTI AC200MAX 2200W Portable Power
Station 2048Wh LiFePO4 Solar Generator”

With an expansion
pack to double its capacity giving 4096Wh for off grid cooking, hot water etc-
this can be routed through the boats shore power. A 200 watt pannel feeds this-
the arrangement can be changed in an afternoon and I’ve debated running 600
watts to the Bluettie and allowing it to charge the 12v with the battery
charger that feeds the auto helm when sailing- as this is usually what I do
anyway sailing in the sunless wastes of the irish sea.

My thoughts as the
owner

I’ve had this boat for about 3 years. I have largely self-restored and
maintained and with some memory jogging can tell you about almost every inch of the
ship (you would need a notepad). Like all boats she needs constant maintenance
and I have a white board of current jobs or upgrades I’m boxing off. I’m not a
great sales man as such will be fully transparent about flaws- will happy take
for test sails but to avoid having my time wasted £100 for an hour or two in
the bay, and if you decide to buy we can deduct that from the negotiated total.
It was rerigged recently in Whitehaven and I have a plethora of paperwork for
everything. I run a dehumidifier constantly when not aboard and keep a clean,
dry bilge. I can deliver a reasonable distance either with new owners or alone  (Scotland Northern Ireland Wales or UK).

“The Hunter Legend 36 is a fantastically roomy cruiser with ample space below,
and the flexibility of bilge keels.”
