1997 Hunter Pilot 27 in very good condition. Sails really well and is very easy to handle for one person, having self tacking jib, and all lines leading back to the cockpit. Being a deck saloon the Hunter Pilot is light, spacious and airy, with lots of storage space. and internal headroom of 6 foot 3 inchs. The raised seating in the saloon are comfortable and the internal furnishings are as good as new. The saloon can be adapted to take extra berths. Internal woodwork is in excellent condition. The deck saloon gives excellent visibility from inside the cabin, with all windows, except one being replaced in 2011. There are 2 double cabins front and rear, and the opportunity to sleep an extra 2 in the lounge. A spacious head together with wash had basin supplied with cold water, and space to hang waterproofs. A chart table is provided with ample room for navigation instruments with overhead light. The gally has a 2 burner optimus meths hob, good sized sink with pressurised cold water, generous cupboard space.The original engine was replaced in 2011 with a Nanni 14hp twin. Engine hours are estimated at about 270 hours.Poppy is equiped with a shore power connection, that comprises a consumer unit and 13 amp sockets. Additionally she has a 12 volt charging system from the 240 volt shore power Hunter performance and quality combine to make the Hunter Pilot 27 a fast yet comfortable Cat B offshore cruiser with exceptional stability and feels very safe under all normal conditions. She has bilge keels which are set asymmetrically and angled to provide lift when the boat is heeling.At the rear of the yacht there are push pit seats added as an extra and they increase the cockpit seating and provide for great visibility.I am reluctantly selling this excellent Hunter Pilot, to move my sailing to Spain. “Poppy” is currently in the club boat yard and can be viewed by appointment.
