Stephen Jones designed Hustler 32. Currently on hard standing at Coates Marine in Whitby,
This boat needs a new engine although there is the mounting on the Transon for an outboard bracket and the boat can be easily powered with a 10hp long shaft Outboard.
A fibreglass repair/patch to a crack high above the waterline on the Transom (can be seen in photo).
Some repair work to the floor in the Galley area – one of the wood supports under the floor needs fixing or replacing (it is not structural, nor is it(or was it) fiberglassed in place it is simply a wooden bridge that adds some rigidity to the the Galley section of floor under foot).
The tiller needs re-greasing / servicing.
The boat is currently on hard standing at the excellent Coates Marine in Whitby where storage costs are approximately £250 per month.
I have hundreds of photos that I can send – just message me with an email address and I will send then via WeTransfer or Dropbox if you prefer.
Offering excellent sailing performance, the Hustler 32 was built as a high quality competitive half ton off-shore racer and over the years has gained a reputation for being both seaworthy and comfortable.
The cockpit has plenty of room and is well equipped whilst the wide and uncluttered decks are easy to move around.
The interior is spacious, has a full sized nav table, galley, berths for 6 and lots of storage space.
All in all, a very capable racer/cruiser yacht. There are two for sale on the market now for around 15 thousand pounds.ACCOMMODATIONThe accommodation offers space for six berths in the open plan cabin. In the forepeak is a Lavac marine toilet and hanging locker and a wood framed double berth. In the saloon are two settee berths with pilot berths outboard. The saloon table covers the engine.
