International Tempest Sailing Boat Dinghy on Trailer with SailsIn fair condition, ready to go but would benefit from finishing off – the previous owner has begun replacing the wood strip around the hull but it needs to be finished off shaping and a tiny bit needs completing on the bow (see photo), and would also benefit from re-painting both hull and cockpit which I think is reflected in the price,I purchased this boat on a whim about six years ago and have never got around to using it. It has been in storage until about 3 weeks ago, due to the sale of the building it was stored in thus I am going to move it on.I know very little about it, but am happy to try and answer any questions you may have.The boat is available to view at my home near Ulverston in Cumbria – please call me on 07730 952409 or email to arrange.The road trailer is included but I have never taken it further than 12 miles and thus would need to properly checked out before taking too far. The left tyre has a slow puncture which I thought best to mention.It comes with a main sail made by Orange, marked Number 5514 and two for-sails made by North Sails, marked number 5911 and 7899 and also a sail cover with the name ‘Aruthusa’ on it – all in good condition and have been stored inside.The boat measures 22 feet and 4 inches (6.8 Metres) by about 6 feet 6 inches (2 Metres). She has a draft of approximately 4 feet (1.2 Metres) with the keel fully down.It looks like the keel does list up, but unsure how easy this is.The mast and boom are both just strapped to the deck.I have looked on the Tempest website and similar boats go for about £4000-5000 going all the way up to £27000 for nearly new, so think this will make a great project and should glean a profit for the new owner.Open to offers, prefer cash on collection but OK with Paypal if you prefer.
