I bought this at the beginning of the year and have used her a lot around the Solent this year and also took a three week trip single handed down to Dartmouth and back. She’s been sat on her mooring unused since September as I have been too busy to get out. I am mainly selling due to save up something larger. She is at Itchenor nr Chichester and the swinging mooring is paid up until April 2020, I am happy to transfer this to the new owner for no cost. This is not a fast boat but stable with a massive amount of space for a boat this size. I don’t actually know exactly how old it is as I got no paperwork with the boat. 1980’s ish I think. The boat draft is bilge keeled and only drafts about 0.8cm.Since purchase I have:New NASA Depth sounderNew LED nav lightsFully insulated and carpeted front birth (hull and coachroof)New running rigging (all)New heavily reinforced bow roller and fairleads.Fitted new Dometic mineral hob on DIY gimble.Various extras like sail cover, fenders, etcSails are ok but nothing special (1 main, 1 Jib, 1 Genoa), would probably go faster with some nice new sails but I’m sure they have a few more years in them if you’re not in a hurry. No idea when the standing rigging was last done. I replaced the lower part of back-stay with spliced Colligo Dux dyneema with solid stainless thimbles as it was damaged when i bought the boat. The Outboard bracket is a bit tired. I just lived with it and was never worried about loosing my engine but if I has keeping her i’d upgrade this as new ones are not overly expensive. When i bought it The front of the bow roller was damaged and both fair-leads had come out (fitted with self tapping screws rather than bolted through) so these has been replaced and HEAVILY reinforced. They are all now fitted to a laser cut 6mm 316 stainless sheet bolted through the deck with a fibreglass and a 3mm 316 backing plate. It is not the prettiest fix and I never bother to tidy it up as i was too busy getting it ready to sail. However it is probably the strongest part of the boat now ;)I have an almost new (2019) Tohatsu 6hp Sail pro which i could sell separately for £850. It has been looked after meticulously, service book stamped and always run for long enough for it to warm up nicely. The boat needs scrubbing and anti-fouling before she sails as there is quite a lot of growth. This is a cheap fairly old boat and there are various knocks, scratches, and imperfections. The front hatch is a bit of a bodge. I assume at some point the fibreglass one was broken and a previous owner has made a pretty poor carpentry job of a wooden hatch. It’s not pretty but remarkably it seems to be watertight! If I was keeping the boat I would replace this but I just never got round to it.Viewings welcome but as it is on the water they will have to be weather dependant and I live about an hour away so I am limited to when I can visit.Feel free to contact with any questions.
