Cleaned, anti fouled and ready to sail!Sadly selling this great boat as we just don’t have time to sail her. We have enjoyed great weekends away and family holidays but now it’s time for someone else to enjoy her.If you don’t know these boats they are fast and roomy for their size, and the lifting keel on this version means she can dry out on a mooring, explore shallow estuaries and be launched from a trailer.Full technical details of the Jaguar 21 can be found at http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=5092 and there’s also an owners club for advice and spares.I was told when I bought “Wyvern” that she’s a 1984 model. She has a genoa and main sail in good but not new condition, ideal for cruising. Also included is a light Yamaha 5hp two stroke outboard, large and small fuel tank, all fenders, leisure battery and everything you need to go cruising. The bilges and rear lockers are clean and dry. The trailer was extensively refurbished two years ago: the axel, brakes, hubs, mudguards were replaced and a fresh water flushing system installed to flush sea water out of the brakes and hubs. Wyvern has a depth display and fish finder and a gin pole to make it easier to raise and lower the mast for trailering. She’s a lot of boat for dinghy money and she will sleep a family of four. All the photos of the boat on the trailor my driveway have just been taken so what you see is what you get. Also included in the asking price is a spare outboard – an old but useable mercury 8hp two stroke and an old but useable inflatable tender and oars. The boat and trailer’s combined weight is 3100lbs or 1407kg according to the trailer plate and I tow it with a two litre front wheel drive car, but please check your car’s towing capacity before collecting it. It tows fine at 50mph with my car. I may be willing to tow the boat and trailer to the new owner’s preferred location at the purchaser’s expense and by separate negotiation.Please contact me if you wish to view her.
