Kim Holman designed Elizabethan 29 sailer cruiser.Hull Number 62 built in 1966.BOAT IS ASHORE IN PRESTON, LANCASHIRE.I bought this boat as a project boat in April of 2022 intending to do her up and go sailing. Unfortunately it appears that I am just another dreamer and have decided to sell her on. I had a pre-purchase survey completed before buying. This survey is available upon request. I also have lots more photos and 4 or 5 videos of the engine, mast, sails etc for anyone who wants to see them. Just message me your phone number and I can WhatsApp them over if that is ok.PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR WHAT IS INCLUDED:STORAGE: the boat is currently stored on hard standing in Preston. I have made a wooden frame and placed multiple tarps over this. Water ingress should be minimal. Storage is currently paid for until June 2024. This is included as part of the sale so no immediate concerns to move the boat over winter.ENGINE: Yanmar 2QM15 with 1082 hours. Installed new in 1989. Currently turns over but does not start. The engine has been sat for a little while and I suspect that this is a fuel problem. Might be something as simple as a new fuel filter.ELECTRICS: Nasa Clipper Depth Nasa Target Log and Speed Alpaca VXL200 VHF Radio Garmin GPS 120 Raytheon ST1000+ tiller pilot Nasa Navtex (Not working) There is no domestic battery just a single car battery which is used as a starter motor for the engine. There is full lighting in the saloon which is all working.MAST & RIGGING: Proctor silver anodised aluminium mast with single spreader with original roller boom converted to slab reefing. Rotostay Rolerfurler ll All mast and spars are in good condition and I suspect are the original factory fitted mast and spars. Standing rigging is present but will most likely need replacing as I am unsure of its age.HULL: during the pre-purchase survey it was noted that for a hull of this age, the hull contains surprisingly little moisture. The hull is in good condition with only minor shallow depth bumps and scrapes. However the hull will still require completely sanding back before filling and fairing before priming and painting. The aluminium windows are quite heavily anodised but should be ok to be refurbished. There are one or two small soft spots in the plywood decking which will require some attention. Hatches are all intact and functional but the plastic is a little crazed.SAILS: Used but serviceable sails. one main with hull number in large black letters. One Roller furling jib and one Cruising chute with very little wear.EXTRAS: pair of beaching legs. The hull has already been modified and strengthened to accept the legs. Getting a set of beaching legs for a cruising yacht is a custom job these days as nobody really bothers to manufacture them anymore. So a nice added bonus. Would cost a fortune to have these made up and installed new.DOCUMENTATION: This boat has previously had some very diligent owners. As a result I have a folder containing the complete history of this vessel including original build certificates, RORC Rating certificate, surveys and the complete sale history of this boat from the factory until me. Very interesting to read through and very rare to get with a boat at this price point.I have listed the boat at £3500 which even in its current condition I think is reasonable. Especially with 8 months storage already pre-paid. This boat is a good design with good handling characteristics and turn of speed due to the counter stern. Research the design online and I think you will be impressed. There is a recent survey detailing what works will be required. This boat is a clean slate ready for someone to work on and have the exact way that they want right from the beginning.I bought an additional Yanmar 2qm15 engine which Is in much better cosmetic condition than the one currently installed. My intention was to do a one for one swap of these engines and to pull apart the one which is currently installed for spares. I have listed this engine separately on eBay for anyone who is interested. They are becoming rare now and a complete full second engine of spare parts might not be too bad of an idea.I have tried to give as much information as I can. Any further questions you may have please feel free. Thank you
Current Price: £3500.00
