Here we have my Kingfisher 20 “Seirian.” The long top hatch version. From what I gather she was one of the boats that sailed across the Atlantic during the publicity flotilla in 1968. Twin cast iron Bilge keel, very strong and sturdy, single piece grp deck, coachroof and cockpit. Outboard well in the cockpit with unique self stowing hinge mounting bracket. Mast is coachroof stepped, and rigging is good. Main and gib self furl. Very low draught that comes in at 2 foot 4 so ideal for creeks and channels or just for landing on the beach. New headsail. Inside is surprisingly roomy with four full berths in two cabins (main and forepeak) , gas cooker, sink, flip up table, hanging space and brand new heads in seperate area. There is a working depth sounder, compass and lights powered by a leisure battery with solar top up. Work to be done: Windows leak. With the boat comes all the new perspex windows, they just need fitting. Self furling gib has a tendancy to nest but that could just be a spring or a clean and I’ll have a look at it now. The pulpit and pushpit need replacing but they are supplied (brand new stainless pushpit and pulpit, they just need fitting. (Which cost £750) See photo) There are two doors to fix in that have been made to seperate the cabins and the heads. So although the boat could use some work, all the needed parts are there ready to go at no extra cost to the buyer. She comes with a trailer that you can see in the photo. If you have any questions do ask (Guy07786665269) and viewing is welcome at Thornham Marina, near Emsworth West Sussex. I have not had her long but will be sad to see her go. Bought for adventures with the family. Family had other ideas. Meh!
