Kingfisher 10 designed by Laurent Giles, 2 Berth sloop, LOA 20ft, Deck length 16ft. Beam 7ft 2inch, Sail area 169 sq ft, Displacement 889 kg, Draft 1ft 7inch – 3ft 6ins, Engine Mercury outboard 2 stroke 4hp. Trailer sailor suitable for inland and coastal waters, used mainly on the Norfolk Broads. Professionally built in 1991 by Harwich Boatcraft. Hull is marine ply with 2 coats of epoxy inside and out. Classic looking, gaff rigging with tan sails. Centre plate 10mm galvanised , fitted with winch, keel does not intrude into cabin. The the cabin can sleep 2 and comes with a broads type boom tent and a simple awning giving extra camping space and privacy. Includes a purpose built break-back trailer and winch, extra tow bar winch, mud weight, fenders, mooring ropes, step ladder for when on trailer, low and high crutches. The mast is on a tabernacle which makes it easy for lowering when going under low bridges. Kingfisher is in very good condition and has had much love and care over the years, receiving much attention.
