Selling my sail boat due to other commitments. I’ve owned the boat for about 2 years now and had some good times aboard. My intention was to carry out some maintenance on board to get everything ready for summer, due to its location and other personal reasons though I can see me not having enough time to do this. The boat was pulled out the water at the start of the year to have some basics done, and some cosmetic works I would have liked to have done. These are Anti fowl Engine service Water impeller needs replacementRe seal a window Cut new plywood for the entrance New cushions and covers – these are still good but look old. General pain and clean. It’s not a huge list and most of that is optional to get it back in the water. Relaunch costs are around 100-200 At the moment I simply don’t have time to get to Newhaven to carry this out, I’ve been trying to do bits for the last 6 months with not much progress, it’s time for a better home for her. Comes with sails, gps, vhf radio, various fenders and ropes, a few mooring lines, life jackets, full set of cushions internal and external, various charts and instructions I received with the boat. Overall set up is fairly basic, the people I bought the boat off spent a while making it a minimum maintenance boat so there’s limited stuff to go wrong. Previous works I believe the last owner has done are rigging, both standing and running, sail repairs, new engine (I don’t know exactly but I don’t think it’s more that 5 years old) Stuff I have done included, new fuel lines and filters, electrical check of wiring, general repairs when something comes off. Currently paid for on a monthly basis with no tie in for the new owners. Ongoing operations if you wish to take the boat on are to leave it on the hard to do the work, or the yard can relaunch or put on a trailer. The boats a twin keel so doesn’t need a stand to be out of the water and can be moved on a flatbed. The mast can be taken down by hand with 1 person, I wouldn’t recommend this though, make sure there’s 2 people for this. Would suit someone who’s looking for a first boat or something fairly simple to single hand as all the lines come back to the cockpit. To sail its tiller action and to motor via a steering wheel with remote start, engine is a 4 stroke tohatsu 9.8. It’s a good little boat and the marina is very nice, someone’s going to enjoy her, unfortunately not me at the moment. Any questions please ask, as there’s most likely something I have forgotten.
