LOOKING FOR A QUICK SALE>>>> OPEN TO OFFERSWelcome to the sale of my Leisure 23. Sadly the time has come to sell her. I purchased her back in 2017 and she is moored in Calstock, Cornwall at the boatyard. She is in fair condition. I’ve just had all of the standing rigging replaced, the 10hp Mariner outboard has been just serviced. New mast lights have also been fitted. I’ve also just resealed the windows as there was a small leak on the starboard side, however I’ve been informed that the port side is now leaking, as water was found in one of the lockers and the tray that runs along the back if the sink has water collected in it. Solar panel works great and is an absolute godsend, plus the battery charges via the engine. She’s a fantastic little starter boat and we’ve had some amazing times sailing along the Cornish coast. Things to note…Heads (toilet) has a split in the waste pipe. Personally I would just removed the whole toilet if I was keeping the boat as they’re a complete pain and free up the space. The head worked fine unit the pipe split. The companionway door will need replacing as water has rotted the bottom. Its still waterproof but doesn’t look particularly great. There’s is some water ingress from the port window. The hull needs a coat of paint. The deck paint needs refreshing. Wood on the upper decking will need re-varnishing or painting. The radio doesn’t work, quite annoying as it was fine until I tested it ready to sell last month. Could be a fuse but haven’t looked in any depth. I’ve had all the cushions reupholstered but they will need a clean. The interior pictures don’t do it justice, the floor staining is just water from cleaning ??All in all, she’s a great boat and just in need of some tlc. She’s currently on the hard standing in Calstock Boatyard on the Tamar River. I Iive in Cheltenham (which is the reason we’re selling as I just can’t get down to the boat as often as I’d like to) so will not be able to show you around, however the boatyard have kindly offered to do this. As for staying on the current mooring (it’s stunningly beautiful, just Google!), this will need to be discussed with the boatyard and does not automatically come with the boat. They are super friendly and Calstock is a beautiful setting. I’m sure I’ve probably missed something, so feel free to ask any questions.
