Macwester Ronan 22 sail boat, I have owned this boat for the last three years and had a lot of fun with her in the first year, but unfortunately due to work and other commitments I just don’t have time to finish her.last season I had new hardwood hatches made and new hardwood tiller handle, it was painted with jotun 2 pack white and 4 coats of jotun antifoul paint. the shaft was drawn and checked for damage and was all good, it was refitted and glands repacked and greased, the engine was removed and serviced in the winter(it is now back in the boat and needs morse controls reconnecting along with fuel lines ect)the boat is the later version of the Ronan with the fibre glass moduler interior as the earlier version being made of ply wood. the boat is a 4 birth with a double or two singles up front and a double in the saloon/galley there is a toilet compartment with toilet although not connected, there is a working sink with tap on a manual pump connected and a two burner gas cooker. the ropes on the mast need replacing(there is a new reel of rope to go with the boat to do this job) there are five sails with the boat, I have only ever used two of them they are not new sails but certainly do the job. I have various new bits and bobs to go with the boat, deck lights(white and blue for night) new bilge pump and float switch, bilge alarm panel,240v shore socket, new deck head sockets for the mast lights, new fuse box fitted but not wired. the boat comes with its own cradle for winter layup, the cradle does need new bolts on the legs to make fit the boat properly(she is sat on blocks at present in the cradle. I will try to get some pictures of the inside.the is currently in storage out of the water at Penzance, Cornwall please viewing is highly recommended . this would make beautiful first boat for someone she is very forgiving and easy to sail and will motor at a very steady 6 knots and sail at 7 knots £3200 ono will consider p/x or swap car or van (what have you got?)please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer as quick as possible, thanks for looking.
